Mein Name ist Martin Steinbach, ich arbeite als Softwareentwickler und IT-Sysadmin in Rostock. Mein Interesse deckt jeden technischen Bereich der IT ab, egal ob es sich um Netzwerke, GNU/Linux, Kryptographie oder Programmierung handelt.
Bis jetzt konnte ich jedes auftretende Problem mit freier Software lösen. Mein Dank gilt daher allen Menschen die an freier Software arbeiten.
[EN] My name is Martin Steinbach and I am working as a Software-Engineer and Sysadmin in the city of Rostock. I studied computer science at the University at Rostock. Before that I worked as an IT specialist. I’m widely interested in almost every topic of information technology, especially GNU/Linux, networking, applied it-security, cryptography, open source software and programming.
There is almost only OpenSource Software in my tool chain. Since today, there wasn’t a problem which could not be solved using Free Software/OpenSource.
